6K a year 9 days ago 9 days ago 9 days ago DEFINITION Under general direction, plans, organizes, directs, conducts, and evaluates clinical education programs; assist in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the overall clinical education programs of the PHH, Inc.
; and performs other related duties as required.
CLASS CHARACTERISTICS This one-position class works under the Clinical Nurse Educator and is assigned full responsibility for all clinical education programs.
The Education Coordinator must utilize independent judgment and considerable initiative in implementing education and activities.
Supervision received by the incumbent is typically limited to departmental policy guidelines and declared objectives of the education program.
POSITION
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree preferred KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES Knowledge of:
The principles and practices of clinical education programs.
Sociological and economic characteristics of a community and their influence on a clinical education program Principles of educational psychology.
Ability to:
Explain and teach the clinical education concepts to others.
Lead verbal and task group sessions.
Plan, organize, evaluate, and direct the work of assigned staff engaged in the clinical health education program.
Prepare and edit effective communications with the public and staff; speak effectively before public and professional groups.
Organize and conduct meetings and training sessions.
Work and deal effectively with staff, officials, community leaders and others.
Classify and categorize health education materials including books, periodicals, pamphlets, brochures, reports, and visual aids.
PT/DAYS.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
