We are looking for a fully qualified office Administrative Assistant to manage and run the day to day operations of an often fast-paced office setting.

Qualifications needed to manage the preschool office effectively include the ability to communicate clearly and politely to parents and staff, welcome families and visitors, manage student files, manage financial files, and be able to adjust to directions and requests by the Preschool Director and Associate Director at any given time.
Ability To Perform a wide variety of clerical and secretarial duties to coordinate preschool office activities Perform public relations and communications for the Preschool Director and Assistant Director Communicate effectively with parents and staff Answer telephone and greet staff, families, and visitors courteously Compose correspondence independently or from directions given Complete work despite regular occurring interruptions Work independently with little daily direction Prioritize and schedule own work Pivot to work that becomes new and immediate priority Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others Understand and follow oral and written directions Read, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in Parent and Staff Handbooks Ability to operate office equipment including printers, phones, computers and understand computer software (Word, Excel, Publisher, etc) Type at 45 words per minute Manage subsidy financial programs Establish and maintain a variety of filing systems Work confidentially with discretion Work as part of a team Administer medicine to children when necessary Knowledge Of Modern office practices, procedures, equipment, and etiquette Financial record keeping techniques Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary Oral and written communication skills Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy Telephone and email/messaging techniques and etiquette Operation of a computer and basic software Working Conditions Environment:
