Are you a skilled technician with a passion for problem-solving and a knack for hands-on work? Our dynamic manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance & Repair Tech.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of our facility's infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural repair, and maintenance.
You will work closely with our team to troubleshoot issues, conduct regular inspections, and implement preventative maintenance measures to keep our manufacturing operations running at peak efficiency.
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Facilities Maintenance & Repair Tech, you will be responsible for:
Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and structural components of the facility.
Conducting regular preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts and systems.
Operates scissor lift and forklift to load and unload material.
Maintains company grounds and outside areas; Removes waste, debris and other related materials from company grounds.
Ensures outside manufacturing waste storage areas are kept neat and clean.
Notifies Management staff immediately upon detecting leakage or spills.
Connecting electric appliances, motors, lighting, devices and equipment.
Performs repairs, renovation or installation to buildings and facilities, including painting, carpentry, plastering, plumbing or electrical power.
Repairs or replaces valves, fixtures and fittings in HVAC or drainage systems.
Installs, maintains and repairs sinks, toilets, water heaters and other plumbing fixtures.
Replaces, faucets, broken pipes, caulks leaks, opens clogged drains and makes other minor plumbing repairs.
Checks and replaces broken/faulty electrical switches, sockets and other simple elements of electrical systems.
Testing and troubleshooting electrical systems using appropriate testing equipment.
Installing struts, electrical conduit, MC cable, etc Makes recommendations for upgrades/improvements to increase efficiency and reduce breakdowns.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should have:

years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural repair.
Experience in maintenance and preventative measures.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Hands-on experience with 3 phase motors and forklift operation.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
High school diploma or equivalent.
A relevant certification or license is a plus.

Salary:
