A successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, a track record of people development, and a positive attitude.
The General Manager's job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Drive excellent customer service and mains company standards.
Ensure Crew Members and Shift Supervisors complete all assigned duties and serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner.
Analyze sales, labor, inventory, and controllables on a continual basis and take corrective action to meet or achieve margin and sales growth targets.
Recruit, hire, and develop Team Members and Shift Leads.
Conduct new hire orientation and develop the training plan for each new hire.
Schedule and deploy the team effectively.
Oversee periodic health, safety, and security audits and initiate corrective action as necessary.
Address performance issues.
Manage the restaurant budget and financial plans.
Ensure the facility and equipment are maintained to Wendy's standards Oversee a team of associates in a fast-paced environment while insuring that all proper food safety precautions are satisfied.
Requirements Demonstrate a friendly attitude and great customer service skills.
Strong verbal, reading, strong math skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
Demonstrate patience and a positive attitude while delegating tasks and giving instructions.
Work effectively and safely in a changing environment.
Ability to make quick and appropriate decisions.
Take ownership and responsibility to solve problems.
Qualifications 18 years old or older.
Legal right to work in the United States.
Able to work flexible hours.
Valid Driver's license and transportation.
Obtain a food handler's certificate according to state or local requirements.
Minimum of two years previous management experience with responsibility for financial results.
Basic computer literacy.
Physical Requirements Able to lift 10-40 pounds, reach with arms and hands, stand and walk for long periods.
