TITLE Payroll Clerk GENERAL STATEMENT OF FUNCTIONS Responsible for full cycle payroll and assisting the Accounting Manager with all areas of the Accounting/Finance Department.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Responsible for running full cycle, payroll - Payroll database maintenance - Assist employees with payroll issues - Assists with record keeping and filing - Distributes materials and information as directed - Assists with employee incentive programs - Runs errands as assigned - Other related duties as assigned Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Previous experience running payroll for companies with 100
employees.
- Thorough knowledge of Business English (including grammar, vocabulary and punctuation), current office procedures and policies, word processing and standard office equipment - Ability to work compatibly with a variety of people - Valid California Driver's License - Acceptable driving record - State minimum required automobile insurance - Reliable transportation - High school diploma - Two (2) years work experience in related field, preferred - Excellent computer skills PHYSICAL ABILITIES - Fingering skills for use of calculator, typewriter and computer - Good vision and hearing are needed to perform all requirements of this position MENTAL ABILITIES - Good organizational skills to ensure meeting deadlines - Good communication skills - Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities - Math skills for producing financial reports REPORTING RELATIONSHIP - Reports to Accounting Manager POSITION CLASSIFICATION - Non-exempt NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE - Monday through Friday, 8:
